Did you know that Proline is now into its 16th year of business? We can’t quite believe it either and with this in mind, it got us thinking.
It’s fair to say that a lot has changed over the last 16 years and with this in mind, we thought we would take a little trip down memory lane to see how the business has changed over the years and to look back at the achievements and success of Proline…
Proline Corporation was established in 2003 and is based in Liverpool at our state-of-the-art factory, which has 20,000 square feet of space. Starting off as a small, local business with minimal staff, we now employ in excess of 70 people and operate 24 hours a day. All of our staff are highly qualified in the counter manufacturing industry and are skilled experts in the design, build and installation of catering counters for foodservice establishments.
At Proline, the bespoke manufacture of counters and displays is what we’re best known for. Since the business began, we have always made sure that the customer is able to choose from a wide range of options and possibilities with their counter or display, and these are second to none. Although the counter finishes have changed considerably over the years, the quality still remains and we have always placed our core focus on the customer to provide an excellent service to ensure that their requirements have been met.
Clients and projects
Over the past 16 years, our client base has grown rapidly and we have been fortunate to work with some of the most well-known brands and businesses in retail, travel, hotels and more. Proline’s major past clients have included the likes of John Lewis, Waitrose, Marks & Spencer, Hilton Hotels, Virgin, Etihad UK and worldwide as well as many more.
Alongside this, Proline has also worked on a number of projects within the education sector for schools and universities as well as within the healthcare and legal sector. We take pride in being a manufacturer that so many businesses across a range of industries can rely on and trust with their counter and display projects, and we will continue to keep up this reputation for many years to come.
Industry trade shows
As a business within the large and diverse industry that is foodservice, Proline have attended many big trade show events over the years such as Hotelympia in London and the Professional Kitchen Show in Birmingham to name just a couple. Trade shows are a great way to meet and network with new people in the business, as well as discover new innovations, products and technologies.
Proline love hitting the road to attend trade shows which are always good fun and really insightful for our staff to learn even more about the industry. They also provide us with the opportunity to promote our unique design and manufacturing services we offer, and to showcase some of our products to the public. Proline will most likely be attending more trade shows in the near future, so make sure you keep an eye out for more information on this.
Supporting local charities
Most recently in the business, Proline have shown support in working with local charities in the area. Last month, we held an old mobile phone sale and a ‘dress down day’ in the office to raise money for Stick ’n’ Step charity and the Vital Signs Foundation. This is something that we decided to do in order to give back to the community and support local charities within the Merseyside area.
After the success of last month’s efforts, Proline are aiming to continue our efforts with supporting local charities by holding regular fundraisers in the office every month. All of the team at Proline very much enjoyed the ‘dress down day’ we had so we will be aiming to do this on the last Friday of each month, after we raised £290 for both charities back in March which we were delighted with.
A lot has changed for Proline over the years and we have made some positive developments within the company since we first established. No matter how much things have changed however, Proline will always continue to be a company that focuses on manufacturing totally unique and bespoke products for our customers.
